DryBuddy:
A Solution for Primary Nocturnal Enuresis (Bedwetting)
Enuresis
is the medical term for uncontrolled bedwetting. It is the unintentional sleepwetting by a healthy child above
5 years of age. For bedwetting advice, the first stop should
be to a pediatrician, urologist or qualified medical practitioner.
When behavioral therapy is recommended, the DryBuddy child-friendly wireless bedwetting alarm system alerts both the parent and child, sleeping in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms and beds. The parent can then confirm that the child is awake and assist the child in order to reduce the incidence of bed wetting or primary nocturnal enuresis (PNE). This prevents the parent having to sleep in the child’s
room, which is one of the most objectionable aspects of training
the child.
The answer
is here:
Sleep in your own room,
wake only when your child has an accident.
An Easy-to-Use and Live-With Bedwetting Alarm System:
Convenience, Comfort and Reliability
A bedwetting alarm will
be used every night, sometimes more than once each night, for weeks and
possibly much longer. The caregiver and patient (parent and child) must
find the bedwetting alarm system convenient, comfortable, and reliable,
together with no continuing expenses or hassle for special parts, supplies
or modifications to clothing. Caregivers and patients are more likely to
use the alarm willingly and consistently to stop bed wetting if it is easy-to-use every time,
after its initial setup. This has been our objective in developing the
DryBuddy System.

No wires:
The DryBuddy wetness sensor is wireless. There are no wires to cause discomfort, entangle your child, or break. Movement by your child within the home, and to limited distances outside the home, are allowed, No wires or any devices other than the wireless sensor are attached to or worn by the patient, improving comfort and reliability.
Super Easy-to-Attach/Detach and Clean Sensor:
The wireless DryBuddy wetness sensor has a unique, patent-pending magnetic attachment system which makes it very easy to attach the sensor to or detach it from any normal clothing worn by your child. Cleaning the soiled sensor and making it ready to use again should take less than one minute.
No supplies:
The hassle and cost of supplies or modifying clothing - special panties, sheets, liners, pads, sewing or taping parts to clothing, etc. - is absent. You can let your child wear his/her regular night clothes. The DryBuddy wireless wetness sensor attaches easily to any clothing. Save your time, effort and money by not wasting them on supplies.
Multiple alarms:
You can place alarms almost anywhere in the patient's house where you may want them. There are no practical number or distance limitations. Two audible alarms are provided with the basic DryBuddy bed wetting alarm system.
Alarms of Your Choice:
DryBuddy may be the only bedwetting and enuresis alarm which allows you to use any 120V AC alarm of your choice that will work with your child/patient. Louder, brighter, anything that you believe will work can be added so that your child will wake up. The same can be done with the caregiver's alarm. Add multiple alarms at any location - whatever works!
Multiple users:
If there is more than one child or patient in the same home, all of whom you wish to monitor or treat using DryBuddy simultaneously (at the same time), you can order two or more DryBuddy bedwetting alarm systems which can be prepared by us to allow you to differentiate between and identify your children or patients. There are no practical number limitations, or any special extra costs.
Incontinence:
DryBuddy can also be used to alert at-home caregivers about incontinence with adults and older at-home patients who are unable to sense or respond to incidents.
Professional Use in Nursing Homes, Hospices and Assisted Living Care Centers:
DryBuddy is also a convenient way to help nurses and care-givers to identify bed wetting and incontinence incidents in Nursing Homes, Hospices, and Assisted Living Care Centers. Wireless urine sensors send signals to a central nursing or attendant station indicating which patient had an "accident." The DryBuddy Pro system helps to provide prompt care to patients who have an "accident," improving the quality of health care being provided. Contact us for details.
A Brief History:
The DryBuddy bed wetting alarm system originated with a father whose child suffered from primary nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) for several years. He was dissatisfied with all of the bedwetting alarms on the market, and with much thought and experience made a detailed list of all the desirable properties and features that an ideal enuresis alarm system should have. We have incorporated all of his ideas, with improvements, into the DryBuddy system. Other users and professionals have also influenced the DryBuddy wireless bedwetting alarm system.
