I cannot believe how well and how quickly this worked. Our 9 year old boy wet just about every night. He had maybe 10 dry nights a year. We kept being told that he would eventually grow out of it, but he never did. We just settled into a daily routine of getting him into the shower every morning upon waking and washing the sheets. Vacations were bad when we stayed at family houses or hotels because he would have to wear a pull up while his younger sister did not. I could see his embarrassment. We finally figured we'd give a bed wetting alarm a try and chose Dry Buddy because it was wireless. We started the day after Christmas and the alarm went off three times that first night. It then went off about twice a night for the next few nights. Then, about six days into using it, the alarm went off, but my son was insistent that he was dry. I realize now that my son was learning to stop wetting immediately upon hearing the alarm. So, although he thought he was dry, there must have been a few drops of urine that triggered the alarm. Then about eight days after using it, we had our first dry night. Maybe a couple more nights of the alarm going off, and then he just started having dry night after dry night. We started using the alarm on December 26th and I think he's been completely dry since about January 11th or so. I wish I had documented it better, but I was thinking this process was going to take a couple of months. I never imagined it would only take a couple of weeks. I'm writing this on January 29th and he hasn't worn the alarm in a couple of weeks and he's been dry every night. We keep waiting for a relapse but it hasn't happened yet. If it does, we will just start using the alarm again, but I really don't think it will happen beyond an occasional night here or there. I still can't wrap my head around how this works, but it clearly does. No joke, this may be the best money we've ever spent as a family.

We have been meaning to write and tell you what a fantastic product this is - so glad we took a chance on yours instead of the "name brands" which are simply not as good - yours is the BEST! Our child was dry in 4 weeks and has been dry ever since! The DryBuddy system has been great - easy to use, and supplement with additional alarms or lights to help the child wake. Just thought I would drop you a quick note to let you know that in this day and age, it’s nice to have a product work the way it’s supposed to. In just 2 months, our grandson is no longer wetting the bed and rarely has the alarm gone off for the last 3 or 4 weeks. We make certain we take him to the bathroom at 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m., but again, we haven’t heard the alarm for at least a month. The biggest change is in our grandson’s self confidence and the way he feels about himself. Unfortunately, most people don’t discuss this problem, but if I hear of anyone with the problem, believe me, I will give them a glowing recommendation.

Our 1st son was completely potty-trained day & night by 3yrs old, so when our 2nd son continued wetting his bed/pull-ups EVERY night through 5 & 6 years old to 7, we were concerned. The Dr. said "no need to be concerned until age 9". However, with the cost of pull-ups & sleepovers with friends occurring more frequently, etc. & the fact that he hadn't had a single dry night, I wasn't convinced that waiting to see if he'd outgrow bedwetting over the next two years, would be a successful plan. The 1st couple of weeks were discouraging, the alarm would sound 2-3 times a night (we both work full time) & it'd take 5-10 minutes of shaking him, etc., to wake him so he'd use the rest room, change underwear & reset the alarm. We persisted & gradually he began waking up on his own when the alarm went off, eventually no longer needing our assistance & he was able to recognize the feeling of needing to urinate while asleep. I'm very happy to say we have a box of pull-ups leftover that are no longer needed!!! After 6-8 weeks of using Dry Buddy he has maintained several weeks of continuous dry nights!!! Our 5 1/2 year old son had never been dry at night. We'd try every few months (so as not to discourage him by trying and failing more frequently) to let him go to bed without a pull up, and inevitably he'd sleep through the night and wake to a very wet bed. The DryBuddy system helped my 10 year old stop wetting the bed, within 2 weeks he was dry at least 50% of the time, within a month he was completely dry. We kept using it for about 3 months and today he is dry every night! He still has an occasional accident maybe once a month and those are the nights where we know he had too much to drink before bed or was really tired and slept really heavily. Thank you so much! We plan on using it on my daughter, we can already tell that she is going to be a bed wetter, right now she wears pulls up and is extremely wet in the morning and she is 5! I just want to write and let you know I am so happy this product has worked for our son ! I guess it took a month. He's been dry now for 11 nights and we are so happy. He's nearly 10 and is such a deep sleeper. He only was dry overnight maybe 3 times in his life before this sensor was tried. And to think it only disrupted my sleep for about 4 weeks. We should have tried this sooner. I will encourage any friends I have with similar problems and tell his pediatrician at the next visit to recommend it to his patients. The results we received by using the DryBuddy system was amazing! The system helped our son build confidence. This system is great especially with an older child (8-9 years). You can explain to him the idea behind it and you can talk about the alarm system in a way that makes them not so scared about it. It allows the child to "see" that his internal system is not waking him up to let him know he has to pee, so that for a while, he needs to rely on an external alarm system. Eventually, through conditioning, his internal alarm system will take over and he will no longer need the external one. It also allows the child to start to have some success right away. And the fact that the parent has an alarm too--one he/she can turn off--is great. I would recommend this system to anyone and I have already talked with my pediatrician about it. My daughter is an extremely deep sleeper and we tried everything! This was the only thing that worked. The key was the alarm in our room so we could go wake her in the beginning. It did take a long while and then she had a relapse, but once we put her back on the buddy I think it truly was able to alter her deep sleeping. I just wanted to let your company know that we used the DryBuddy system for our 6 year old son. We were told by our pediatrician not to worry and he would grow out of this phase, but it was starting to upset our son that he was not dry during the night and his twin sister had already been dry since age two. I see my step daughter every other weekend and she has had bed wetting problems for over six months. We tried informing the other half of the family, however, they denied it. Since I only see her only so much we needed something that would really be effective. This system was a knight in shining armor for our 8 year old.
