Transceiver
Two transceivers are provided with the DryBuddy system kit. The first transceiver is plugged into a standard electric socket in the wall of the patient's room, preferably as close as possible to the sleeping patient. If you wish to wake the patient with an alarm, an alarm device (such as a radio, buzzer, light, and/or the supplied audible alarm) must be plugged into the transceiver's socket. The second transceiver is plugged into a standard electric socket in the parent/caretaker's room. An alarm can be plugged into this transceiver to get the attention of the caregiver.
Two transceivers with on/off remote controls are provided per DryBuddy System kit. Two audible alarms are also provided for the user's convenience.
One wireless keyfob is provided to help reset the system and transceivers after each use.
Note: A transceiver can be placed anywhere in the house where there is a standard electric outlet. There is no other limit to the number of transceivers used, so numerous alarms can be located in the house. There is also no distance limitation other than the transceiver/alarm be located in the same house as the patient.
