Alarm
Audible alarms are provided for the user's convenience, so that you do not have to reconfigure or change how you may use bedside radios, lamps, or other devices in order for you or the patient to be woken up.
The power supply provided is plugged into the power outlet at the bottom of the transceiver in the patient's room, and attached to the power input socket at the back of the alarm. The alarm is conveniently placed on a bed-side table besides the patient. The second power supply is plugged into the power outlet of the transceiver in the parent/caretaker's room and placed on a bed-side table besides the caretaker*. The alarm volume is adjustable according to your needs. Apart from an audible sound, the LED light on the front of the alarm lights when the alarm is turned on by the DryBuddy system. The ON/OFF switch on the top of the alarm facilitates turning it on or off during setup and use.
Note: The DryBuddy system's unique ability to use any 120V AC device as an alarm allows the users to use any 120V AC device or devices of their choice as alarms, such as a radio, music device, buzzer, and/or bright light. Any such device simply needs to be plugged into the bottom of the Transceiver, and will be switched on and off by the Transceiver. If you wish to use more than one device as alarms at the same time, simply plug an indoor 2-wire electric extension cord with a three-way connector at its end into the bottom of the transceiver, and plug all of your alarm devices into the three-way plug inlets at the end of the extension cord. Additional alarms can be added to the audible alarm that may have been provided with the DryBuddy system. This gives users tremendous flexibility in using whatever alarms suit them.
